Everything Out in the Open — Ask Us Anything
We could keep our operations behind closed doors like most brands do. Instead, we wrote it all down. How WINTK Pakistan is funded, what we do with your data, where every rupee of community aid goes, and why we think you have every right to know.
What WINTK Is — and Isn't
What we are
What we're not
Why are we so explicit about this? The name “WINTK” has occasionally been mistaken for gambling-related brands operating in South Asia. We want zero ambiguity: we have no connection to that industry whatsoever. Our work is community aid across Pakistani cities, digital literacy guides in English and Urdu, and independent journalism. Full stop.
What We Commit To
These aren't slogans we came up with in a meeting. They're rules we wrote down so you can hold us to them. If we fall short on any of these, tell us.
Full disclosure on how our platforms connect
wintk.pk, wint-k.org, and fr24news.com are all part of the same brand. We declare this on every site, in our structured data, and right here. No hidden ownership layers, no shell companies, no undisclosed backers.
Editorial independence is non-negotiable
fr24news.com runs its own newsroom. Nobody at wintk.pk tells them what to publish or what to avoid. If a story goes live, it's because the editors decided it mattered — not because someone wrote a cheque.
Mistakes get corrected in the open
When we publish something wrong, we fix it on the original page with a clear note about what changed and when. We don't quietly edit things and hope nobody notices. That would defeat the point of this entire page.
Every aid program is documented with real numbers
Clothing drives, food distributions, educational supplies — each one gets tracked with actual counts. How many families, which cities, how many items. Not feel-good estimates. Real data you can check on our Community Aid page.
Any question about our operations gets a straight answer
Send anything to info@wintk.pk — how we're funded, who makes decisions, where the money goes. If the question is reasonable, you'll get an answer within 48 hours. If it belongs on this page, we'll add it.
How We Actually Run Things
Content Standards
Every article on fr24news.com gets fact-checked before it goes live. Sources are attributed, and if something needs correcting after publication, the fix happens on the original page — visibly. Over at wint-k.org, guides are written by people who actually use the platforms they cover, not by outsourced content mills churning out generic advice.
Funding & Revenue
WINTK Pakistan is privately funded. Revenue comes from digital services and partnerships — content collaborations, platform services, and technical consulting. Not a single rupee comes from gambling, financial speculation, or anything we wouldn't put on the front page of wintk.pk. Our community aid programs in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and other cities are funded directly by brand revenue. We don't ask the public for money.
Privacy & Your Data
We track basic things — page visits, time on site, which guides are popular. That helps us figure out what people in Pakistan actually find useful. We don't sell any of it. We don't hand it to advertisers. We don't build behavioural profiles. We don't plant tracking pixels that follow you across the web. Visit wintk.pk, read what you came for, and leave — we keep nothing that identifies you personally.
Platform Relationships
wintk.pk is the brand hub. wint-k.org hosts community resources and digital literacy guides. fr24news.com covers news independently. All three belong to the same WINTK brand — we state this in every footer, in schema markup, and on this page. No holding companies, no hidden investors, no offshore entities. One team, three platforms, each with a distinct purpose. The fr24news.com editorial team picks its own stories without input from the brand hub.
Where the Aid Goes
Saying you help people is easy. Documenting it is harder, which is why we do it. Every program we run across Pakistan has real numbers attached — families reached, items handed out, cities covered. Here's the summary.
How We Got Here
WINTK Pakistan didn't materialise out of nowhere. Here's the actual timeline — what was built, when it went live, and what we're working on right now.
WINTK Pakistan Founded
The premise was straightforward: build a brand that does tangible things for communities in Pakistan rather than just talking about doing them. wintk.pk went live as the official brand hub.
wint-k.org Launched
We kept getting questions about digital platforms — which ones are trustworthy, how to stay safe online, what the scams look like. So we built wint-k.org with guides and resources in English and Urdu.
fr24news.com Goes Live
There were stories falling through the cracks — tech developments, community events, sports coverage that bigger Pakistani outlets weren't prioritising. fr24news.com was built to cover those gaps with its own independent editorial team.
First Community Aid Distribution
Winter clothing drive across 6 cities in Pakistan. 200+ families reached, 600+ items distributed. No ceremony, no PR event — just volunteers handing warm clothes to people who needed them before the cold set in.
Ecosystem Connected
All three platforms linked with proper schema markup, cross-references, and unified brand identity. Search engines now recognise WINTK as a single brand operating three distinct platforms.
Expanding Across Pakistan
Food support and educational programs rolling out in more cities. fr24news.com growing its article count. wint-k.org building out its Urdu guide library. We're not in a rush — we'd rather do things properly.
When We Get It Wrong
We're not going to sit here and claim we never make mistakes. Every organisation does. What separates us is what happens after something goes wrong. We wrote the process down so you can hold us to it.
The standard approach in this industry is to quietly edit, hope nobody screenshots the original, and move on. We think that undermines trust more than the mistake itself. If someone in Lahore or Karachi read the original version, they deserve to know it was updated.
This correction policy applies uniformly — news articles on fr24news.com, digital literacy guides on wint-k.org, and every piece of information published on wintk.pk. One standard, three platforms, no exceptions.
Acknowledge
If we published something factually incorrect, we own it immediately. No deflecting to sources, no downplaying the error. We put it out there, so the responsibility is ours.
Correct Publicly
The fix goes on the original article or page with a visible note stating what changed and when. Not tucked into a footnote or hidden behind a tooltip. Front and centre.
Learn From It
We trace back to the root cause — was it a sourcing problem? A rushed deadline? A communication gap? Whatever it was, the process gets adjusted to reduce the odds of it happening again.
Quick Tips for Staying Safe Online
Digital literacy is central to what wint-k.org does, so online safety is something we think about a lot. These tips apply everywhere on the internet — not just our platforms.
Check Before You Trust
If an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is. Cross-reference with at least two other sources before acting on anything you see online — whether it's a deal, a claim, or a piece of news.
Guard Your Accounts
Different passwords for different sites. Two-factor authentication wherever it's available. It takes two minutes to set up and can save you from months of trouble if something gets compromised.
Keep Personal Info Private
Your CNIC number, phone number, home address — these should never go on platforms you don't fully trust. If a website asks for more personal information than its service requires, walk away.
Speak Up If Something's Off
Notice something suspicious on any of our platforms? Report it. Email info@wintk.pk. We would genuinely rather investigate a false alarm than miss a real problem affecting our users in Pakistan.
